A wide flange gravity column splice connection utilizes outside flange plates and web plates referenced from the schedule. The upper and lower wide flange columns align along a centerline with single web plates and single filler plates as required on each side. Outside flange plates match the flange plate width and are secured with two seven-eighths inch diameter ASTM A325 erection bolts. Weld sizes W1 and W2 are specified along with single shim plates as required.
