A cast-in-place concrete stair assembly bears on ninety percent compacted fill and terminates at a concrete footing reinforced with two number four rebars. The stair slab is six inches thick with number three reinforcing bars spaced at twelve inches on center each way. Each tread and riser features a number three nosing bar. The footing measures ten inches minimum in width and extends one foot six inches minimum below grade, adjacent to an asphalt concrete paving or concrete slab.
