An HSS cladding post connects to a wide flange steel beam using a WT6x17.5 shape and a half-inch thick plate centered on the WT section. A three-eighths inch bent plate connects the HSS cladding post, with fillet welds specified at both sides. An additional HSS post is integrated as shown in plan, supported by the steel framing. All member sizes and locations are coordinated per the structural framing plans.
