A buckling-restrained brace frame foundation connection features a base plate anchored to a concrete foundation with anchor bolts and leveling nuts over a layer of grout. A centrally located grout hole is provided in the base plate. Gusset plates connect the braces to the base plate assembly, with gusset plate sizes specified per the schedule on sheet S3-121. The concrete foundation includes four number nine Grade 80 U-bars oriented each way, set below the floor datum with a brace blockout.
