A structural steel column base plate is anchored to a concrete footing with a buckling-restrained brace framing into a gusset plate welded to the column assembly. A transfer plate is integrated into the foundation alongside the column base with extensive anchor rod embedment. Typical footing stirrups are spaced per the schedule, with decreased spacing provided locally to avoid conflicts with anchor bolts. Additional reinforcing bars and embed plates are detailed to match the base plate dimensions.
