A continuous one-quarter-inch thick bent plate connects the cold-formed metal stud wall to the supporting concrete slab structure. The continuous bent plate is welded to the supporting structure with fillet welds sized per plan. The metal stud wall is positioned against the bent plate assembly and secured as detailed on the structural drawings. The slab depth is five inches minimum at the roof or floor, or sized per architectural and structural plans.
