A steel bar joist bears on an angle shelf supported by a concrete panel connection assembly. A continuous hollow structural section tube framing member ties into the panel using embedded plates and reinforcing bars. Connection plates are welded with fillet and partial-joint-penetration welds as specified on the drawing.
