Typical structural steel beam framing and bearing end connections. The steel beam features an L3x3x1/4 angle welded to each side with a two-inch radius at the bearing end. Below, steel columns are anchored to concrete assemblies using continuous L3x3x3/8 angles at embedded 3/8-inch by 14-inch by 1-foot 8-inch bent plates spaced at 48 inches on center. These embed plates are secured with two 3/4-inch diameter by 6-inch headed stud anchors and two 1/2-inch diameter by 24-inch deformed bar anchors. Fillet welds of 1/4-inch and 3/16-inch sizes connect the steel framing components typical throughout the assembly.
