A six-inch pour-in-place concrete wall bears on a fourteen-inch thick concrete footing reinforced with four continuous number five bars and number five bars at twelve inches on center. The wall contains number five vertical bars at ten inches on center at the centerline of the panel and number four horizontal bars at twelve inches on center. A six-inch concrete slab reinforced with number three bars at eighteen inches on center each way ties into the wall. A tube steel guardrail inserts into a tight-fitting pipe sleeve embedded in the top of the wall, welded to a three-inch by three-inch by one-quarter-inch plate.
