An existing concrete column and embedded steel column are wrapped with two layers of Tyfo SEH-51A composite system oriented horizontally, anchored by five-eighths inch diameter Tyfo SCH composite anchors spaced at twelve inches on center. The surrounding corners are rounded to a half-inch radius typical, with existing reinforcement left undamaged. An existing opening is infilled with concrete reinforced with number four U-bars at twelve inches on center using adhesive anchors into existing concrete, and two continuous number seven bars. The assembly ties into an existing brick wall along a structural grid line.
