A steel beam framed into a concrete wall is anchored by a half-inch by sixteen-inch by one-foot-zero-inch embed plate secured with six three-quarter-inch diameter by five-inch headed stud anchors arranged in three rows of two. The hollow structural section or steel beam connects to the embed plate with a quarter-inch fillet weld. A concrete slab on grade bears adjacent to the wall connection as sized per plan.
