About this detail

An 800S2250-54 cold-formed steel stud framing assembly extends full height from the slab on grade to the roof deck. The top track, designated as an 800T200-54 profile, connects to the underside of the roof deck with two number twelve TEKS screws per connection, maintaining a one-inch gap. The vertical studs are spaced at sixteen inches on center maximum, left unscrewed at the top track flanges to allow vertical movement. A clip angle designated as SCW3.25 attaches with two number twelve TEKS screws to each leg at the top connection. The bottom track, designated as 800T150-54, fastens to the slab on grade using three-eighths-inch diameter by three-inch Titen HD concrete screw anchors, with SSC2.25 clips fastened to the stud using two number twelve TEKS screws each.
