A steel column base plate plan features dimensions and anchor bolt placements. A four-bolt anchor pattern is positioned symmetrically at the corners with typical one-and-a-half-inch edge clearances. A centered four-inch diameter grout hole is provided with a size matching the anchor bolt hole size. Fillet welds of five-sixteenths inch or AWS minimum size connect the column profile to the base plate.
