An HSS girt frames into a wide flange column with an L6x4x3/8 angle bracket welded at the top and bottom with a 1/4-inch fillet weld typical at each in-framing girt. A clearance gap of up to 5/8-inch is maintained at the column flange face, with a 1/2-inch maximum spacing along the side. The girt aligns with the column centerline, maintaining typical installation tolerances.
