Welded shear studs are arranged in single and double row configurations on a steel beam top flange. Three-quarter-inch diameter studs are spaced at twenty-four inches maximum typically unless otherwise noted. Edge distances require one and one-half inches minimum for single rows and three inches minimum for double rows.
