A davit socket pedestal is mounted on a three-quarter-inch by twelve-inch square minimum plate supported by diagonal and orthogonal steel framing members at a corner column. A W12x19 beam frames into the davit socket pedestal support, while a W12x26 member with a moment connection at each end runs diagonally across the assembly. Additional beams are sized per plan and connect to the corner column with standard framing. A three-eighths-inch fillet weld secures the steel connections.
