A reinforced concrete footing supports a concrete pedestal with vertical dowels matching the pedestal reinforcement and three additional sets of ties placed at the top of the pilaster. The pedestal features number four ties spaced at twelve inches on center with lap splices and additional ties at each end of the splice. A precast panel connects to the wall per the precast manufacturer, while steel elements exposed to earth receive a protective coating and exposed structural steel is galvanized. Waterproofing is coordinated per architectural drawings.
