A structural steel core is enclosed within a casing and terminated at each end with a gusset plate featuring bolted connections. A one-eighth-inch seal weld is specified at the edge of the casing. The assembly is symmetrical about the centerline and includes dimensional designations for core length and bolt-hole spacing.
