Horizontal wall reinforcing runs continuously through the concrete pier, which is sized per plan and schedule. Vertical dowels match the column reinforcement above and extend down into the concrete footing. Continuous footing reinforcement runs through the spot footing where it occurs at the concrete pier. A concrete slab on grade ties into the pier assembly as sized per plan.
