The strand tendon ground anchor assembly consists of steel tendons secured by an anchor head and wedges bearing against a steel bearing plate and trumpet. A PVC or polyethylene tube houses the unbonded length of the tendon, which includes a tension ring to resist splitting forces from deflected strands and non-structural filler. Spacers and centralizers maintain tendon alignment within the anchor grout along the minimum ten-foot bond length.
