A structural steel angle diagonal brace connects to a bare metal roof deck via a three-eighths-inch plate welded parallel to the assembly. The L6x6x3/16 angle spans a minimum of four low flutes, fastened with two number twelve sheet metal screws and lock washers at each low flute. A three-sixteenths-inch fillet weld secures the connection on three sides at the deck interface and two sides along the brace. A field-weld flag symbol indicates site installation.
