Non-structural concrete slab-on-grade curbs span widths ranging between four and sixteen inches. Continuous number four reinforcing bars run horizontally through the curb assembly with standard clearances maintained at one and one-half inches minimum. Number four hairpins spaced at twenty-four inches on center tie the curb to the main slab, featuring turned-in hooks at the slab edge. A note directs the builder to architectural drawings for specific curb dimensions.
