An existing steel bar joist supports vertical hanger wires and splay wires attached to the bottom chord. The support wire utilizes a saddle tie with a double loop at the joist. Hanger wires are secured with three tight turns, while bracing wires feature four tight turns. Splay wires are installed parallel to the joist only and cannot be perpendicular. The maximum allowable load per hanger is fifty pounds.
