This structural detail shows temporary 2x2x1/4 inch angle bracing installed across a series of new 32-foot long-span open web steel joists designated as joists one through four. The temporary bracing members span horizontally and diagonally to stabilize the new joists relative to the existing truss. Section and detail reference callouts E2 S406 are indicated for connection conditions.
