A concrete housekeeping pad is anchored to a structural slab with number four dowels spaced at three feet on center and embedded two and one-half inches into nine-sixteenths-inch diameter holes. The pad features number three reinforcing bars at twelve inches on center each way within a four-inch thickness and has a three-quarter-inch chamfer on all sides. The top of the pad is finished smooth and level, while slab size and reinforcement are sized per plan.
