Metal deck panel configurations span over parallel and perpendicular beam supports at edge and intermediate conditions. Thirty-six-inch-wide panels bear on structural supports with a two-inch minimum bearing typical. Top seam welds are specified at twenty-four inches on-center maximum, supplemented by metal closure strips and weld patterns as required unless noted otherwise. Fasteners include five-eighths-inch diameter elements positioned at edge and intermediate locations across side seam joints.
