A five-sixteenth-inch fillet weld with a six-inch-on-twelve-inch spacing is applied, featuring a one-foot-six-inch long weld at the ends typically. Boxed beam reinforcing plates terminate six inches clear from the support beam, maintaining a maximum three-quarters-inch clearance.
