A hollow structural section stair hanger connects to a W24 wide flange beam using a half-inch plate welded with three-eighths inch fillet welds. A W12 member frames into the web of the W24 beam using a bolted shear tab connection. The hanger plate extends six inches down into the hollow structural section with a one-and-a-half-inch offset below the beam flange. Centerlines align with the W24 and hollow structural section members as referenced on plan.
