Subdiaphragm angles and WT sections span between roof joists with their vertical legs notched as required. The horizontal legs of the angles feature complete penetration welds at splice locations. The metal deck ribs attach to the WT flange using five-eighths inch diameter fasteners spaced at six inches on center. A three-sixteenths inch typical fillet weld connects the assembly components.
