Metal deck bears perpendicularly across a wide flange beam with its top of steel elevation sized per plan. A twenty gauge closure caps the edge of the deck at the perimeter. The side overhang distance is dimensioned as a maximum of one foot six inches from the centerline of the wide flange beam.
