A one and five-sixteenth inch metal deck bears directly across hollow structural section steel beams. Teks self-tapping screws secure the metal deck to the top flange of each steel member using a pattern defined in the roof metal deck notes. A reference note directs the user to detail seven on the same or a related sheet for complete fastener schedules.
