A glulam column connects to a glulam beam supporting a cross-laminated timber floor plate, utilizing a sleeved pipe connection and four structural screws spaced per plan. The end of the beam aligns with the far side of the glulam column. Three-quarter by four-inch smooth steel dowels are positioned at the corners of the bearing plate.
