A continuous deck bearing angle sized L5x3x1/4 is welded to the steel beam web. The concrete slab over steel deck bears on the angle and steel beam flange, secured with headed stud anchors. Framing connections utilize bolted shear tabs welded to the supporting steel beams. A maximum twelve-inch dimension and step down are detailed per plan.
