This structural steel connection mounts an elevator guide rail bracket to a support post using a quarter-inch by ten-inch by twenty-inch steel plate and quarter-inch side plates. The plates are welded with three-sixteenth-inch fillet welds typically along the assembly. The bracket provides a field adjustment range from two and a quarter inches minimum to four and three-quarter inches maximum, with a two-inch field adjustment per the vendor. The elevator guide rail attaches to the bracket according to the manufacturer specifications.
