A buckling restrained brace connection frames into a wide-flange beam with intermediate stiffener plates. Gusset plates, welds, and brace connections are provided per the manufacturer specifications and approved shop drawings. Stiffener plates are installed as required by the brace manufacturer. A perpendicular beam connection is detailed elsewhere in the drawing set, and concrete fill over metal deck occurs as shown on the plan.
