A concrete slab overhang is supported by a steel beam and bounded by a continuous five-sixteenths-inch bent plate at the cladding face. The assembly includes continuous reinforcing bars sized per plan with standard hooks, accompanied by additional number four reinforcing bars at twelve inches on center conditioned upon the overhang dimension being between six inches and one foot. Steel deck bearing is detailed with three-quarter-inch clearances and specified fillet welds. The top of steel is referenced to slab thickness requirements per plan.
