Embedded bolts (ASTM A307 or F1554 Grade 36 minimum) are installed in concrete with a minimum compressive strength of 2,500 PSI to secure attachments of variable thickness per drawings. Dimensions specify minimum concrete thickness, bolt embedment, minimum edge distance, and minimum bolt spacing. These minimum edge distances and bolt spacings apply when locating embedded bolts that are not specifically otherwise detailed on the drawings.
