The cold-formed steel box header bears on the jamb stud with a maximum one-quarter-inch gap typical. The web of the track is bent at the ends and fastened to the jamb with two number ten screws at the top and bottom. Additional track framing is secured with screws to each side of the box header and to the jamb. Four number ten screws spaced at twelve inches on center fasten the built-up members together.
