An HSS girt is supported by a girt bracket attached to a structural column per schedule, set two feet ten inches from the grid line. A continuous 1/4 inch by 9 inch plate spans above the concrete masonry unit wall, with a seismic separation joint specified per architectural drawings. The hollow structural section girt is coped as required for bolted connections, and a wall panel matches architectural drawings with a one-inch offset. Fillet welds of 3/16-inch size connect the assembly elements.
