A parallel edge closure for a metal deck assembly bears on an edge member. The edge closure matches the gauge of the deck and is secured with number ten screws spaced at four inches on center. Five-eighths inch diameter puddle welds attach the metal deck to the supporting structural member as specified in structural notes.
