A cantilevered floor steel beam frames into the web of a supporting steel beam using a one-half inch thick typical shear tab welded to the support. Three seven-eighths inch diameter typical bolts secure the framing member web to the shear tab. A typical weld access hole is provided at the beam flange intersections. Complete joint penetration welds and five-sixteenth inch fillet welds are specified at the connection details.
