A vertical pipe sleeve penetrates through corrugated steel deck. An eighteen-gauge square steel plate surrounds the sleeve and fastens to the steel deck with number ten sheet metal screws spaced at six inches on center each way. Sizing criteria include a twelve-inch square plate for pipe diameters up to four inches, a twenty-four-inch square plate for pipe diameters up to eight inches, and a thirty-six-inch square plate for pipe diameters under twelve inches.
