A structural steel column connects to a concrete pile cap via a base plate and anchor assembly sized per plan. A bottom plate is embedded within the concrete at the required minimum embedment length specified in the base plate schedule. The pile cap features a typical depth of 300 millimeters with a minimum bottom concrete cover of 75 millimeters.
