The fine screen area exhaust fan number two connects to a rectangular duct transition that steps down from forty inches by thirty-six inches to thirty inches by twenty-four inches. A flexible connection and backdraft damper are installed directly above the fan discharge, followed by an isolation damper and a duct smoke detector. Additional isolation dampers are integrated into the forty-inch by thirty-six-inch and thirty-inch by twenty-four-inch duct network. Hanger supports designated as H144 typically secure the horizontal duct runs above the bottom of duct elevations.
