A hanger rod per manufacturer specifications passes through a bent plate one-quarter inch thick and a pair of six-by-four-inch angles back-to-back. Double hex nuts secure the top and bottom of the rod at the bent plate. A square washer plate measuring one and one-quarter by two inches sits below the angles, secured by a square jamb nut snug to the bottom of the angles.
