A concrete slab connects to a reinforced concrete column with top slab reinforcement detailed per plan with a standard hook extending into the column core. Bottom slab reinforcement is sized per plan and terminates into the connection zone. Column reinforcement ties are spaced per table with a typical three-inch clearance maintained throughout.
