A steel girder bears on an L6x6x3/8 by zero-foot-eight-inch joist bearing angle equipped with two half-inch stiffener plates at a concrete tilt-up panel joint. The assembly connects adjacent concrete panels via a three-eighths-inch by six-inch steel plate embedded with a half-inch by thirty-six-inch by twelve-inch plate. Three number four weldable rebar anchors tie the plate assembly into each concrete tilt-up panel. A three-quarter-inch diameter A325 bolt is installed in a long slotted hole parallel to the tilt-up panel to accommodate movement. Fillet welds of five-sixteenths, quarter-inch, and three-sixteenths inch sizes secure the steel connection elements.
