An existing concrete slab meets an existing concrete-encased steel beam at Level 1, set at an elevation of 12'-0". Portions of the existing concrete slab are designated for demolition flush with the edge of the concrete encasement on the far side of the beam. The existing concrete-encased steel beam is marked for removal. Existing steel beams require shoring as needed during the demolition process.
