Vertical reinforcing and horizontal reinforcing are placed within a concrete wall assembly designated as Type C. The vertical reinforcing bars run continuously along the interior and exterior faces of the wall. The horizontal reinforcing bars are positioned perpendicular to the vertical steel, located inside the outermost layer of vertical reinforcement.
