A concrete tilt-up wall panel bears on a concrete footing with one and one-half inches of non-shrink grout and is anchored with dowels. A concrete pour strip links the slab on grade to the wall panel, utilizing number four dowels spaced at eighteen inches on center or an alternate configuration. Reinforcing steel extends into the pour strip with a twenty-four-inch minimum lap, maintaining a one-and-three-quarter-inch clear dimension. Foundation insulation with an R-six rating is applied against the footing, and the contractor has the option to make the panel connection to the footing from the inside.
